CONDENSATE TREATMENT

Why treat compressor condensate?

Compressor condensate contains oil components.

In order to protect our environment, there are official regulations iN most countries, for example, which require mandatory compliance with a maximum oil content before condensate can be discharged as wastewater into the sewage system.

You have the choice of either disposing of the entire compressor condensate professionally or filtering out only the oil components and thus save around 90% of the disposal costs!

THE PREMIUM SOLUTION - NEQXUS QX-SEP OIL-WATER SEPARATOR.
Clean thing! Oily compressor condensate in, clean water out.

The oil-water separators of the QX-SEP 60 - 2500 series are DIBt certified and thus the compliance with legal limit values is confirmed by an independent body. The discharge of the water purified by the QX-SEP oil-water separators into the sewage system is permitted under environmental law. The German Institute DIBt confirms with there approval the suitability of the separator for mineral and synthetic oils as well as for the treatment of condensate from screw and piston compressors.

CONDENSATE TREATMENT

Description

The SEP Series is not the typical oil-water separator. The advanced design and unique environmentally friendly, oil absorbing SILEXA™ filtration media take separation technology to a whole new level.

No dirty carbon filters, no settling ponds with untreated condensate, no external oil collection tanks.

Just simple and effective condensate treatment.

Moreover, the water does not "stand" in the unit, but flows during the process. Water should flow, otherwise there is an increased risk of bacteria formation, this problem is always found with conventional oil-water separators.

Unrivaled filtration performance - even with synthetic oils:

A conventional separator relies on settling tanks - waiting for the oil to float on the water. Many synthetic oils do not settle because they have a specific gravity very similar to water. Pressurized, timed solenoid valves exacerbate the problem because they emulsify the oil-water condensate before it reaches the separator. The Sepura oil-water separator does not rely on a settling basin.

NEQXUS recommends "ZeroLoss" condensate drains.

Easy service

Unlike traditional heavy, dusty activated carbon bags that require pre-soaking, technologically advanced SILEXA™ filter media comes in clean, lightweight, easy-to-use bags that require no pre-soaking, ensuring quick and easy media changes. In addition, there is no settling tank to clean and no oil catch tank to empty. The oil is contained within the filters for easy disposal.

Environmentally friendly materials and workmanship

The Sepura range is not only technologically advanced, but also environmentally friendly as the absorbent media is derived from recycled glass, so no use of activated carbon.
